Questions

What is Sawhorse?

A free connector that turns Claude into a woodworking planner. You describe a piece of furniture; it designs it at your measurements and gives you a cut list, shopping list and illustrated step-by-step plan, with a PDF.

Who is it for?

Beginner and intermediate woodworkers. Every plan is checked against the tools you say you own, like a circular saw, miter saw, drill and pocket-hole jig.

What can it build?

Benches, tables, planter boxes, shelves, sawhorses, and box-built pieces like bookcases, cubbies, nightstands, toy chests, media consoles and mudroom benches. No drawers yet.

Are the measurements reliable?

Every dimension comes from a 3D model of the piece, not a guess. Sawhorse also checks for parts that collide, screws that are too long, and shelves or seats that would sag. Always measure your space and lumber before cutting.

Is it free?

Yes. Sawhorse is free while in beta. No account or credit card.
